I'm seriously thinking about getting my nose done and have for at least 12
years now........so has anyone had this operation?
How's the healing time? What's the after-effects like? Painful?
I looked at a cosmetic surgery website and saw pics from the surgery and was a
bit shocked.......but friends of mine that had the operation only really
complained about the bruising,and complications related to the surgery because
they had bad surgeons.......other than that.....nothing too major.
Answer:
I came close... I broke my nose last summer and had to have it fixed. it
was kind of a drag. For 6 weeks I wasn't supposed to work out, bend over,
or otherwise exert myself. I'm not sure how much of that was because of the
surgery and how much was because of the accident. I ended up with two black
eyes and some serious swelling. I was out of commission for about 3 days.
Since I didn't actually have rhinoplasty (I had a closed resection) I'm not
sure how much my experience wouild correspond with having a rhinoplasty.
While the resection is less invasive than the rhinoplasty (they do all the
surgery from the inside), the trauma my face endured in the accident
probably made up for it. I've had a couple of other surgeries in my life,
however, and this was cake compared to back surgery!!
