Question: I was wondering how long it would take them to mock Phil Collins. Anyone
else see the portrayal as a call back to the "Gumby"s in Flying Circus?
Answer: While I think that the initial poster is being a tad strict,
I did get the impression that much of this episode was Phil Collins bashing
explicitly due to his win at the Oscars. If the TS2 song won, would this
episode have been written? I can't see the SP creators poking fun at Newman
for that. What if SP did win?
But overall, it was pretty good. Sure, not as tight as one of my favs,
Tom's Rhinoplasty or Starvin' Marvin in Space, but still LOL-able.
