Plastic Surgery Nose

Question:

Since we're talking TLH again, I have a question: What the h**l does panupunitoplasty mean? I assume Pratchett made it up, but I can't even break the thing down by its roots.

I do know that a)"plasty" has to do with "plastic," as in its original definition, "maleable," 'cause "rhinoplasty" is reconstructive plastic surgery on the nose, aka a nose job; and b)"pan" means "over all," as in "Pan Hellenic," but the prefix there could be "panu," in which case even that little bit is wrong.

So, any help, anyone?

Answer:

Pangalacticgargleblaster is what I first thought of.

Then I thought more about it.

pan - relating to the whole punito - punitive? To inflict punishment plasty - plastic surgery

So to me (until further educated) that would be "all forms of painful plastic surgery"
