Nose Surgery In Ny

Question: We know Shaq was -- allegedly not at the all-star game due to his knee
problems (what a lousy and my guess transparent excuse)-- but what was the
story on Jerry Wests' absence? I didn't see anything about it in the
popular press. Does anyone know why Jerry wasn't there to celebrate being
one of the great 50 players of all time?
Answer: I think Jerry West was having surgery that day...
It was a nose surgery. I hope it wasn't a nosejob, but it's LA, you know.
So, this was elective surgery? Smells pretty fishy to me... Shaq & his boss
both awol....VERY curious.
I believe Jerry was having some minor surgery (swear to god) done that
weekend, although i cant remeber what at this time.
