Nose Cosmic Surgery

Question: My nose is red! It's not because of the winter. It's not because of the sun. It happens even
when I stay inside all day. My nose is red! It stands out especially badly
because the rest of my face is very pale, and then.... blar, my nose is red.
I'm having a hard time phrasing things tonight, but I basically was just
wondering if anybody knows why my nose might be a different colour than the
rest of my face, and what I can do about it.
Answer: Sometimes, especially as you get older, the skin on the nose (under the
eyes, around the nose, etc. etc.) becomes more translucent/thinner, making
your nose look redder; this is a problem both my mother and I
have--Scottish/Irish ancestry, reddish hair = translucent, see-thru skin.
Now, this is just something I have noticed in my family, your problem may be
different, possibly due to broken capillaries under the skin, allergies,
skin irritation, etc. etc. But if you are naturally quite pale, it may just
be one of those things that goes with the territory. Dunno for sure
But as previously posted about red skin problems, pick up some green
concealer from Physician's Formula--it works like a charm on ony redness you
have on your face.
